All alone...
With having one of our largest camps (and the National Professional Fastpitch Diamonds in town) today I had to do my work out on my own today. You really do not realize how much you take your workout partner for granted until they are not there. Everything felt longer today; the treadmill/cardio, the lifts just felt like they went on for hours. Having that extra person in on your workouts to provide you with their energy, excitement, and support makes a huge difference.

NPF Diamonds Visit TURN 2
Today's workout was a butt kicker - I have come to expect that the day after a holiday such as the 4th of July. With that being said I will say the most exciting part of the day was not the treadmill or the jump rope; instead it was our special guests for the National Professional Fastpitch League - The Diamonds. Having one of our 4 professional fastpitch softball teams in house today for a practice as they head down to Marion Illinois for a 4 game series against the Pride (our Olympians) was extremely exciting for the facility and the staff here at Turn 2. We had some special guest student visitors from our Premier School on site to observe their practice and do a meet and greet with the players and coaches. Below is a slideshow of the day - not a bad way to come back from Colorado...
